Obituary of Jack Lackey

Jack Lackey, Sr., passed away on August 5, 2011 at age 83. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon from 2-8 p.m. on Sunday and from 2 p.m. until the service on Monday. The chapel service, conducted by Brother Jackie Lackey and Brother Todd Lackey, is 4 p.m. Monday, August 8, 2011. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers: Shane Lackey, Todd Lackey, Austin Jones, Mike Lackey, Cain Lackey, and Josh Lackey. Survivors include sons Jack (Cindy) Lackey, Jr. and David "Bubba" Lackey; daughters: Brenda Ketchum, Samantha Gammons, and Vonda Driver; sisters: Sue Brewington and Mary Mullins; fifteen grandchildren: Shane, Todd, Mike, and Josh Lackey, Melodie Gatti, LaChelle Burton, Donna Mofield, Will Law, Dana Ketchum Mallett, Brandi Sevier, Jordan Driver, Austin Jones, Cain, Toby, and Odie Lackey; fourteen great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and special friends: Pat Sharp and Susie Rogers. He is preceded in death by parents Lee and Bessie Brown Lackey, daughter Linda Pruitte, grandson Tony Harris, granddaughter Jetta Lackey, sisters Onie Hodge and Della Coates, and brothers Charlie, John, Joe, James, Earl "Monk", and Lester "Dude" Lackey.
