Obituary of Liddle Velma Smith

LIDDLE, Velma Smith Velma Liddle passed away on November 27, 2008 at age 46. She had been a teacher at Walter J. Baird for 18 years, and was a member of Gladeville Baptist Church. She was passionate about photography and loved watching son Cody play baseball. The family will be accepting friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon on Friday, November 28, 2008 from 2-8 p.m. and on Saturday at the church for one hour prior to service. The service, conducted by Brother Bruce Grubbs, is 11 a.m. Saturday, November 29, 2008, Gladeville Baptist Church. Interment in Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Marc Butler, Alvin Filson, Marty Madewell, Joe Scott, Frank Lannom, and Gene Jones. Survivors include husband David Liddle; son: Cody Liddle, both of Mt. Juliet; father: Cleo Smith of Oak Ridge; sisters: Joan (Bruce) Walton of Oak Ridge and Velvet (Dan) Weaver of Kingston; in-laws: Leonard (Barbara) Liddle; sister-in-law: Darlene (Michael) Taylor; brother-in-law: Dwight Liddle; and niece: Mikayla Taylor.
