Obituary of Wilma Ruth Davenport

Ruth Davenport, age 84, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2012 after an extended illness. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon from 2-8 p.m. on Monday and for one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. The chapel service, conducted by Pastor Jon Akin and assisted by Reverend Joe Johnson, is 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Interment in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Steve Hornsby, Tristan Simpson, Austin Kemp, Winston Davenport, Rob Davenport, and Raymond Baines. Honorary Pallbearers: Deacons of Fairview Church. The family extends a special thank you to the UMC Staff, Calvary Baptist Church, Linda Ligon, and Fairview Church Family. Memorial Contributions: Hope Builders at Fairview Church (1660 Leeville Pike, Lebanon TN 37087) in honor of Ruth Davenport. Survivors include son Bobby (Debbie) Davenport; sisters: Faye (Vern) Timberman and Betty Jo (Lavon) Spann; grandchildren: Terry (Amy) Kemp, Rob (Jamie) Davenport, Summer (Brian) Patterson, and Wesley (Angel) Kemp; step-grandchildren: Michael (Krissa) Granstaff and Chris Granstaff; great-grandchildren: Tristan Simpson, Austin Kemp, Cheyenne Davenport, Leah Lehew, Peyton Lehew, and Chase Davenport; step-grandchildren: Dustin Napier, Landon Patterson, and Kylie Patterson; and a number of nieces and nephews.
