Obituary of Margie Ruth Pope

Margie Ruth Lynch Pope, 86, died at home just after 5 a.m. Tuesday morning of March 10, 2015. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home from 2-8 p.m. Thursday and from noon until service on Friday. The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Richard Neal and Brother Glenn Creasy, is 2 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2015 with interment in Wilson County Memorial following the service. She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon Pope, parents William V. Lynch and Alice Whitehead Lynch Gann, stepfather Louis Gann, brothers Milton Gann, Kenneth Gann, Robert Gann, Odell Gann and sister Louise Lynch Watson. She is survived by her sons, V. Ray Pope and Donald E. Pope, grandsons Ray (Tammy) Pope, Jr., Donald (Christy) Pope, Jr., Jason (April) Pope, and James Pope, granddaughter Erica (Dwayne) Pope Winfree and 16 great-grandchildren, brothers Jimmy (Linda) Gann and Charles (Sharon) Gann, sisters Billie Faye Griffin, Edith Styles and Paulette Beasley.
