Obituary of Doris Grey Haynes

Doris G. Fowler Haynes, born November 6, 1928, died January 23, 2012 in Lebanon TN. Mrs. Haynes was a homemaker and attended Rocky Valley Baptist Church. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon from on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the service. The chapel service, conducted by Brother Jason Lohorn and Brother Mark Rager, is 11 a.m. Thursday, January 26, 2012. Interment in Wilson County Memorial. Pallbearers: Charles Scott, Darryl Moore, Gus Fowler, Harold Williams, Carl Lea, and J.T. Crook. A special thank you to friend and caregiver Ethel Johnson. She was preceded in death by husband Vester Lee Haynes; parents Fred B. Fowler and Henrietta Gibbs Fowler; grandson Michael Scott; sisters Beatrice Lanier and Helen Faye Houts; brothers Terry Fowler and Frank Fowler. She is survived by son Chris (Susan) Haynes, Lebanon, daughter Gwen (Jerry) Scott of Gallatin; brothers James Fowler of Madison, Dan (Donna) Fowler of Orlinda, and Kenneth (Brenda) Fowler of Lebanon; grandchildren Melanie (Darryl) Moore, Harrison (Justine) Haynes, Bradley Haynes, and Susanna Haynes, and great-grandchildren, Chloe and Clarke Haynes.
