Obituary of Martha Angeline Huffines

Martha Huffines passed away on January 20, 2012 at age 81. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday, 2-8 p.m. on Sunday, and from 10 a.m. until the service on Monday. The chapel service, conducted by Pastor Serita Martin and Brother Milton Hicks, is 11 a.m. Monday, January 23, 2012. Interment in Ridgewood Cemetery, Carthage TN. Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as Pallbearers. The family offers a special thanks to the nursing staff of the Cardiac Vascular ICU, 2nd floor at Centennial. Honorary Pallbearers: Luther Martin, Wayne Kerr, and Robert Llewellyn. Survivors include children: Patty (Doug) Tomlinson, Peggy (Joe Bob) Haynes, Mona (Bob) Williams, Susie (Gary) Powell, and Karen (Charles) Leyhew; step-children: Walter (Patricia Ann) Huffines Jr., Wanda Huffines, Mike Huffines, and Rosemary Brisendine; siblings: Serita (Luther) Martin, Wayne Kerr, and Lillian (Robert) Llewellyn; 17 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by father of children J.D. Presley, second husband Walter Huffines Sr., daughters Deborah Smith and Sylvia Cunningham, and parents Albert and Anna Bell Scott Kerr.
