Obituary of James Rochelle

James "Jim" Rochelle, Jr. age 77 of Gallatin, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015. Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 9th at Dry Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Ted Bane officiating. Mr. Rochelle was born August 4, 1937 in Wilson County, TN, son of the late James Marcelus Rochelle and Katherine Purnell Rochelle. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by stepson, Nicks Williams. He is survived by wife of 28 years, Anne N. Rochelle of Gallatin; daughters, Jennifer Rochelle Williams of Stuart, FL and Ginger Rochelle of Lebanon; brother, Robert T. "Bob" Rochelle (Janice) of Lebanon; sisters, Sylvia Dawn Thorne (Robert) of Lebanon and Tersia Kaye Walker of Cookeville; stepsons, John Williams (Kay) of Columbia, Lee Williams (Pam) of Brentwood, David Williams (Theresa) of Wartrace and Tommy Williams of Enterprise, AL; step daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Williams of Charlotte, NC; nineteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and special friend, Darlene Cahill of Carthage. Mr. Rochelle served in the U. S. Army and was the owner of Rochelle's Market. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Legion Post 17, 1140 South Water Avenue, Gallatin, TN 37066.
