Obituary of William H. Malone

William H. Malone, 72, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away Friday, January 6, 2012, following a valiant battle with COPD and emphysema. He was born on August 6, 1939 in Lebanon, Tennessee, a son of Lillard Thompson and Eva Richard Massey Malone. He was raised in Tennessee, living there through the beginning of his military service. He also lived in Seattle, Washington, and Lompoc, California. He then moved to Roy, Utah, where he lived the remainder of his life. Bill faithfully served his country in the U.S. Air Force, during the Vietnam War Era. He worked for Boeing Aerospace, retiring after many years. On June 28, 1980, he married the love of his life, Sandra Lee Seibert, in Wilson County, Tennessee. They spent 31 wonderful years together. He enjoyed woodwork and was an all around handyman. He had an art for Christmas decorating, and he restored his 1951 Ford Custom. He loved camping, fishing, and going to Wendover with his wife. He was a caring husband, a loving grandfather, and a good honest person to all his friends. Bill is survived by his wife, Sandra; step-children, Tina Louise Cordero-Ogilvie, Rita Marie Wilde; grandsons, Seth Cordero, Ian Wilde , and Steven Hernandez; great-granddaughter, Nevaeh Nicole Cordero; nieces, Pam Gregory, Kim Hayes; and nephews, Mike and Mark Gregory. He was also Papa to many of his little friends, Arzy, Violet, Nick and Mike. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, four sisters, and three brothers. The family would like to give a special thanks to Hospice for their care during this time, they have been more than helpful! Thank You! Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2012, at 11:00 a.m., at Sellars Funeral Home, 313 West Baddour Avenue, Lebanon, Tennessee. A viewing for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2012, from 4:00 " 8:00 p.m., and on Thursday from 9:45 " 10:45 a.m., prior to services. Interment in the Wilson County Memorial Park, Lebanon, Tennessee. The family requests that people donate to the charity of their choice in his name and honor.
