Obituary of David Eugene Hankins

David Hankins passed away on December 24, 2011 at age 63. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday and from 11 a.m. until the service on Wednesday. The chapel service, conducted by Brother Glenn Denton and Brother Danny Sellars, is 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2011. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Nephews and friends will serve as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers: Billy and Jerry Borchett, and the doctors and nurses of the Nashville V.A. Hospital. Survivors include mother: Ernestine M. Hankins; children: Amy Hankins, Dana (John) Moore, Greg (Laruhenda) Hankins, and David Alan "Bubba" Hankins; siblings: Doris Fitts, Darlene (Kenneth) Thorne, Dennis (Brigitte) Hankins, Darryl (Judy) Hankins, and Dewayne (Shannon) Hankins; grandchildren: Hunter Lee Hankins, Peyton Alan Grose, Hannah Grose, Cloe Brown, Audrey Parsons, and Austin Hankins; great-grandchild: Alexis Parsons; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by father John Luther Hankins and brother Danny Hankins and grandparents Everett and Daisy Hankins and John and Irma Maynard.
