Obituary of Sarah Sloan

Sarah Sloan, age 86 of Gallatin, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015. Funeral Service will be at Lambuth Memorial United Methodist Church on Sunday, July 26th at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Eugene L. Martino, Jr. officiating. Entombment will follow in Sumner Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with family serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Saturday, July 25th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Family Heritage Funeral Home. Mrs. Sloan was born June 5, 1929 in Hartsville, TN, daughter of the late Thomas and Bessie Meadow Day Stanford. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Sloan. She is survived by son, Steve Sloan (Janice) of Hartsville, TN; daughter, Linda Nunley (Bryan) of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Scott Nunley, Josh Sloan (Brooks), Meagan Burgio (Dave) and Matthew Sloan; great grandchildren, Kara Sloan and Kasen Sloan. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lambuth Memorial United Methodist Church, 1042 Hartsville Pike, Gallatin, TN 37066.
