Obituary of Harris Gladys Lorene

Mrs. Gladys Harris passed away on September 3, 2008 at age 81. She was a bookkeeper for Hankins, Jewell and Johnson for 25 years and a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church. The family will be accepting friends at Sellars Funeral Home on Saturday, September 6, 2008 from 4-8 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. until service. The chapel service, conducted by Brother Glen Denton, is 1 p.m. Sunday, September 7, 2008. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers. Survivors include daughter Cynthia Harris of Lebanon; nieces: Joyce (Jr.) Tisdale, Donna (Jerry) Barlow, Brenda Wauford, Debra (Tommy) Edwards, and Angie (Marlon) Holt; nephew: Ricky (Tammy) Goad; and special friend Roxy. She is preceded in death by husband Melvin Harris, parents Cordell and Mettie Deadmon Goad, and brother James B. Goad.
