Obituary of Hazel Mai Barrett

Hazel Barrett, age 92 passed away on August 24, 2013. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home on Monday from 4-8 p.m. and from 10 a.m. until the service on Tuesday. The Funeral Service, conducted by Reverend John Hunn, is 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 27, 2013. Interment in Wilson County Memorial immediately following the service. Pallbearers: Timothy Barrett, Anthony Walker, Daniel Barber, Roger Sherrill, Clint Draper, and James Davis. Honorary Pallbearers: Charlie Tatum, Bob Turner, Woody Hunt, and Wayne Ray. The family extends a special thank you to Avalon Hospice and to her neighbors. Survivors include daughter Judy (Jackie) Dalton and son Joey (Pam) Barrett; siblings: Mary (Claude) Williams, Ellen (Roy) Wright, Joan Mullinax, and Ruth Hartsell; grandchildren: Dawn Duncan, Timothy Barrett, Anthony (Kayla) Walker, Rhonda Anderson, Tabatha (Curtis) Barber, Nakita (Zach) Gardner, Tammy (Bob) Ellis, and Jeremy Dalton; 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by husband Sanford Barrett, son William Barrett, parents William and Katherine Weber Warren, and siblings Margaret Jackson, Naomi Pritchard, Dorothy Lenning, William Warren, and Robert Warren.
