Obituary of Jasper Jay Newell

WILSON COUNTY NEWELL, Jr., Jay, age 69 of Mt. Juliet passed away October 19, 2009. Preceded in death by parents, Jasper and Hazel Newell, Sr. Survived by wife, Alice Newell; 5 beloved step-daughters; nieces, Janie Streukens and Susan Houk; nephew, Bill Davis; sister, June Davis; and several great nieces and nephews. Funeral service Friday, October 23rd at 11 am at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Terry Carver officiating. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 22nd from 4-8 pm and one hour prior to the service on Friday, October 23rd.
