Obituary of Annie Kate James

JAMES, Annie Kate, born October 5, 1922, went peacefully to be with her heavenly Father on January 25, 2015. She worked and retired from Dillards Department Store, was a member of Mt. Juliet First Baptist Church, a member of the Order of Eastern Star, and a member of the Mt. Juliet Home Demonstration Club. Mrs. James is preceded in death by parents, Fred and Euda Beatrice Patterson and beloved husband, R.B. James. She is survived by son, Hugh B. (Joyce) James; daughter, Brenda Tippit; brother, Jimmie Patterson; grandchildren, Rhonda (David) Baker, Donna (Danny) Francis, Timothy (Donna) James, Tammy (John) Steiger, Terry (Dusty) Garmon, Toy (David) Keatts, Ted Cunningham, and Katie Maguire; twelve great-grandchildren; and ten great-great grandchildren. The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Billie Friel, is 1 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2015 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. Interment will be in Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens following the service. Family will serve as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers: The Mt. Juliet Home Demonstration Club.
