Obituary of Johnny Edwards

EDWARDS, Johnny "Pop", age 66 of Mt. Juliet passed away August 18, 2010. Mr. Edwards was retired from UPS and a veteran of the US Navy. Mr. Edwards was preceded in death by parents, H. P. Edwards & Carlene Harris; brother, Horace Edwards; and sister, Geneva Victory. He is survived by wife of 48 years, Shirley Edwards; sons, John, Shannon & Bill Edwards; grandchildren, Lauren & Blake Edwards; sister, Margie (Sonny) Connelly; brothers, Pat (Linda) Edwards and Jerry (Edith) Edwards; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 21st at 11am at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Buster and Mike Mayberry officiating. Interment will be at 1pm at Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashville with his nephews serving as pallbearers.
