Obituary of Donald Ray Buchanan

Mr. Don Buchanan passed away on December 25, 2009 at age 72. He had been employed by Taylor Impression for 36 years, was a veteran of the US Air Force, a member of the Wilson County Beekeepers, Davidson County Master Gardeners, and the Lebanon Senior Citizens" Center. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2009. The chapel service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2009, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment in Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers: John Dunn, Mark Dunn, Mack Hollis, Phillip Lea, Jeff Parker and Mike Sloan. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Ruth Ellen Brim Buchanan; 4 children: Cynthia (Mike) Sloan, Jeffrey (Mary Beth) Buchanan, Sheryl Buchanan and Donya (Jeff) Parker; brother: James (Peggy) Buchanan; sister: Joyce (John) Dunn; and grandsons: Logan Buchanan, Matthew and Patrick Sloan and Matthew and Joshua Parker. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Edith Henry Buchanan, son-in-law William Fuller, and grandson Christopher Parker.
