Obituary of Ruth Jackson

Ruth Jackson, age 88 of Gallatin, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Funeral Service will be Friday, July 3rd at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Goodman officiating. Interment will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Thursday, July 2nd from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and Friday, July 3rd from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Mrs. Jackson was born May 8, 1927, daughter of late Henry Albert Stevens, Jr. and Sarah Elizabeth Paschell Stevens. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, David Wayne Jackson. She is survived by son, Steve Jackson (Kim) of Gallatin and granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Jackson. Mrs. Jackson worked at Genesco for 13 years and was owner of Volunteer Products Chemical Company. Also, she worked in the office at Sullivan's Department Store and West End Synagogue.
