Obituary of Gloria Mary Dillard

Mrs. Gloria Dillard, age 83, passed away on February 22, 2012 at Quality Care Nursing Home. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon on Saturday from 2-8 p.m. and on Sunday from noon until the service. The chapel service, conducted by Pastor Eric Reed and Brother Danny Sellars, is 2 p.m. Sunday, February 26, 2012. Interment in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Steven Cox, Jessie Dillard, Lance Dillard, Kevin Grisham, Jake Dillard, and Shane Dillard. Memorial Donations: American Cancer Society (2000 Charlotte Ave, Nashville TN 37203, 315.327.0991). The family extends a special thank you to Quality Care Nursing Home and Odyssey Hospice. Mrs. Dillard was a homemaker and married to Joseph Warner Dillard for 56 years until his death on May 5, 2004. Also preceding her in death is grandson Chad Lee Dillard. Survivors include six children: Paula Irene (Don Hutchinson) Dillard Cox, Joseph Michael Dillard, David Warren Dillard, all of Lebanon, Walter Lowe Dillard of Alabama, Robert Lee (Connie) Dillard of Lebanon, and Mark Steven (Pam) Dillard of Alexandria; 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
