Obituary of Oliver Ford

Oliver "Pa" Ford, Sr. passed away on September 1, 2012 at age 81. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon (Stone Mansion, 416 Rome Pike) on Sunday from 3-8 p.m. and on Monday from 10 a.m. until the service. The Funeral Service, conducted by Reverend Danny Sellars, is 11 a.m. Monday, September 3, 2012 at the Stone Mansion. Interment in the Mt. Union United Methodist Church cemetery. Pallbearers: Thomas Holt, Bennie Johnson, Travis Johnson, Kenneth Rich, Ken Rich, Jason Rich, Jason Harris, and Randy Likens. The family extends a special thank you to Avalon Hospice. Survivors include wife of 56 years, Lorene Rich Ford; daughter: Lisa Haynes (Randy) Holt; daughter-in-law: Mary Ford; grandchildren: Abby Haynes and Brian Haynes; step-grandchildren: Wayne Howard, Scott (Kim) Howard, Thomas Holt and Meagan Holt; great-grandchildren: Eli Haynes and Cody Haynes; step-great-grandchildren: Kayla Howard and Tandy Jones; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by son Oliver Ford, Jr., parents Jim and Letha Ford, brother Lester Ford, and sisters Lena Stinson and Estelle Johnson Franklin.
