Obituary of Raymond Perry Bates

Raymond Bates passed away on April 28, 2013 at 58. The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Donnie Baines, is 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon (at Stone Mansion, 416 Rome Pike) with visitation from 2 p.m. until the service. Survivors include wife of 36 years, Debbie Bates; children: Brandy (Mike) Neely, Charity (Floyd) Smith, Brandon (Leigha) Bates, and Daphne (Doug) Raines; siblings: Ronnie (Donna) Bates, Terry (Shirley) Bates, Eugene Bates, Debbie (Ricky) Qualls, Denise (Aaron) Maynard, and Sandra (Ricky) Plumlee; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents Roy E. and Berlene Johnson Bates, and brother Jerry Lee Bates.
