Obituary of Marilyn McMullen Morrison

Marilyn McMullen Morrison, age 78 of Gallatin, passed away Saturday May 30, 2015. Funeral Service will be at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston, LA on Saturday June 6. Ms. Morrison was born October 19, 1936 in Memphis, TN to the late V. L. McMullen and Mary Harriett Wynn McMullen. She is survived by sons, Robert E. Morrison, Jr. (Lisa) of West Point, MS, and William W. Morrison (Melissa) of Castalian Springs, TN; daughter, Karen Kay Walton (Bob) of Foster City, CA; and brothers, William George McMullen of Timpson, TX, and Edward Richard McMullen of New Orleans, LA. Marilyn graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics and a Master of Arts Degree in Education. She was an instructor at Volunteer State Community College in Gallatin, TN for 28 years and retired in 2005. She was a member of Gallatin United Methodist Church.
