Obituary of Helen Thomas Bowman

Helen Thomas Bowman, age 79 of Hendersonville passed away Saturday May 23, 2015. Funeral Service will be Wednesday May 27th at 12:00 noon from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home. Interment will be at 4:00 p.m. at Crest Lawn Cemetery in Cookeville, TN. with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Tuesday May 26th from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m., and Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Mrs. Bowman was born July 19, 1935 in Putnam County to the late Norman Thomas and Jewel Roberts Thomas. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother, Dean Thomas. She is survived by husband, Dr. James C. Bowman of Hendersonville; sons, James C. Bowman, Jr. (Tracey Allen) of Hendersonville, and Thomas "Mike" Bowman (Jamie Bruce) of Hendersonville; 6 grandchildren, Natalie Bowman, Molly Bowman, Lindsay Bowman, Jacie Bowman, Annette Newbauer, and Clint Jackson; and 2 great-grandchildren, Ryland T.
