Obituary of Jeffrey Smith

SMITH, Jeffrey, 46 years old of Mt. Juliet, TN was freed of physical and mental pain, April 28, 2010. Born in Dayton, OH, he was preceded in death by his mother, Henrietta B. Smith. Jeffrey is survived by his father, Cecil Smith of Florida; his son, Jackson Alexander Smith; daughter, Sarah Jordan Smith of Mt. Juliet; his sisters, Kathie (Dale) Harned of Nashville, Celia (Jim) Hilgeford of Arizona, and Rosetta (Ted) Locker of California; his brother, Franklin (Freda) Smith of Colorado; nieces, Rachel, Shelley, Krista and Julia; and nephews, Larry and Gregory. Gifted in the area of computers and technology, Jeffrey was a devoted son and brother and was well known for his kind heart and finding ways to help others whenever possible. His children, Jackson and Jordan, whom he loved with all his heart, were his pride and joy. He will be greatly missed by friends and family. A service led by his Pastor Todd Stevens of Friendship Community Church will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. Family visitation will be held 30 minutes before the service. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Jeffrey's name to the Fathers' Rights Foundation or the church of your choice.
