Obituary of Alexander Anthony Rossi

Alex Rossi passed away on October 4, 2010 at age 78. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, October 7th and from 10 a.m. until service on Friday. The chapel service, conducted by Brother Jimmy Gregory, is 11 a.m. Friday, October 8, 2010. Mr. Rossi served in the United States Army and graduated from the University of Connecticut with a mechanical engineering degree. He retired as an engineer from Lux Clocks. Burial will be private at the Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury, CT. Survivors include children: Robert Rodgers, Billy Rodgers, Joe Hodges, and Janet Hodges; siblings: Joseph Rossi, Johanna Lanteri, and Regina Cillizza of Connecticut, and Serafina Magni of Massachusetts; grandchildren: Shonta Stewart, Tiffany Rodgers, Rachel Rodgers, Jason Rodgers, and Justin Lea; and great-grandchildren: Alexis and Chandra Sawyer, and Avah Stewart. He is preceded in death by parents Ascanio and Mary Buchwald Rossi, and siblings Louis, Frank, and Ascanio Rossi, Louise Carrignan, and Patricia Jannetty.
