Obituary of Jimmy Allen Bradley

Jimmy Allen "Sarge" Bradley, age 75 of Gallatin, passed away Thursday April 30, 2015. Funeral Service will be Monday, May 4th at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Larry Yarbrough officiating. Interment will be at Sumner Memorial Gardens with the Military serving as pallbearers; honorary pallbearers are the "Round Table" at Mable's Restaurant, and Romeo Stock Invest Club. Visitation will be Sunday, May 3rd from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Monday, May 4th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Mr. Bradley was born October 13, 1939 in Memphis, TN to the late James Lewis Bradley and Annie Wilma Cromwell Bradley. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Charles Philmore Bradley. He is survived by wife of 54 years, Alice Faye Morse Bradley; daughters, Vickie Lee Stout (James) of Gallatin, Sharon Ann Haynes of Gallatin, and Kay Deneen Bradley of Nashville; brother, Terry Ray Bradley (Kay) of Kennett, MO; sisters, Julia Ann Bradley of Kennett, MO, and Penny Lou Huskey (Delbert) of Kennett, MO; 8 grandchildren, Ann Chaffin, Joey Graves (Melanie), Abby McCormick, Jamie Stout, Jessie Tait (Brian), Tobias Smith, Ellie Ferrell, and Nathan Haynes; and 8great-grandchildren, Emma Chaffin, Olivia Chaffin, Jack Chaffin, Landon Tait, Zachary Tait, Reid Tait, Faith Munday, and Berkley Graves. Sarge was retired from the United States Army after 21 years, retired from the United States Postal Service as Postmaster after 21 years, and a member of First Baptist Church in Gallatin. Family Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
