Obituary of L. T. Jenkins

L.T. "Rawhide" Jenkins, passed away on June 10, 2014, age 77. He was an ABC agent from 1968-1970 and worked with Buford Pusser. Mr. Jenkins was Chief of Police of Watertown and was with the Lebanon Police Force for 28 years. Mr. Jenkins served on the 15th Judicial Drug Task Force, was a baliff for Judge J.O. Bond and Judge David Durham. He was a 32nd degree Mason in Lodge 98. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m., Friday from 2-8 p.m., and Saturday from noon until the service. The Funeral Service, conducted by Reverend Danny Sellars, is 2 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2014. Interment in Conatser Cemetery following the service. Pallbearers: Shawn Belcher, Andy Smith, Scott Smith, Lee Bowling, Bob Harrison, Mike Thompson, and Mike Conatser, and Patrick Clemmons. Honorary Pallbearers: Lebanon Police Department, Jim Owen, and the Lebanon Roughnecks. Mr. Jenkins is survived by children: Nakia (Robert) Kellow, Jon Jenkins, Jeff (Alicia) Wall, and Tommy (Susan) Jenkins; grandchildren: Shawn Belcher, Mackenzie Willis, Sierra Jenkins, Krislyn Jenkins, Ashlyn Jenkins, and Rebecca Wall. He is preceded in death by wife Marie Jenkins, son Tim Wall, parents Logan Thomas and Maude Pearl Eakes Jenkins, siblings Dovie Conatser, Mildred L. Jenkins, Milton C. Jenkins, Della M. Kenney, and Mary Brasen.
