Obituary of Dowlene Roberts Moscato

Services for Mrs. Dowlene Roberts Moscato will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon TN, officiated by Pastors Bob Evans, Charles Moscato Jr., and Danny Sellars. Interment will be in the Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday, July 25th from 4-8 p.m., Monday, July 26 from 4-8 p.m., and Tuesday at 10 a.m. until the service. Mrs. Moscato, 85, native of Lebanon TN and former resident of Fredonia NY died Friday, July 23, 2010 from a long heart condition. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles "Charlie-Jeep" Moscato Sr. of Fredonia NY, her parents Dow and Emma Nola Roberts, sisters Vivian Mehok, Mairean Polvino, Lucille Warren, Nelda Sellars, and Beatrice Brown, and brothers Billy Roberts, Charles "Bobby" Roberts and Louis McVay, and grandchild Gina Marie Kordon. Survivors include: sister Katherine Hawkins; brother: James Roberts; two daughters: Rose Ann (Charles) Kordon and Charlene Moscato, both of Lebanon TN; son: Charles (Lori) Moscato Jr. of Memphis TN; grandchildren: Charlotte Heart, Charles (Sherry) Kordon Jr., Joshua and Lauren Moscato; and three great-grandchildren: Jesse White, Cailei and Chelsei Kordon; and a host of nephews and nieces. She was a member of the Fredonia Assembly of God Church. She is remembered for her beautiful singing voice and warm hospitality. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
