Obituary of Blanche Hancock Ricketts

RICKETTS, Blanche, age 82 of Old Hickory passed away September 20, 2010. She was a member of Grace UMC since 1981. Preceded in death by parents, William & Esther Hancock; husband, Donnell Ricketts, Sr.; brothers, Jim Hancock, Whaley Hancock, Charles Hancock, and William Hancock; and sister, Sarah Chambers. Survived by daughter, Cheryl Ricketts; sons, Don (Carolyn) Ricketts and Skip Ricketts; sisters, Rita (Sam) Sherrill and Ruth Corley; grandchildren, Jamie (Mark) Milele; Mandie Healy, Trey (Tammy) Healy, and Wendi Ricketts; and great-grandchildren, Justin Milele, Caleb Ricketts, Marissa Milele, Lindy Ricketts, Hannah Ricketts, Sara Capps, David Capps, and Jessica Lavender. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 24th at 11 am at Grace United Methodist Church, 2905 N. Mt. Juliet Road, Mt. Juliet, TN with Dr. Ron Brown officiating. Interment will follow the service at Hermitage Memorial Gardens with Trey Healy, Quinn Corley, Mark Milele, Justin Milele, David Witt, Walter Hamilton, David Hood, and Randy Mathis serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are the Bible Seekers Sunday School Class. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, September 22nd from 4-8 pm and Thursday, September 23rd from 2-8 pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet.
