Obituary of Hilda Thornell

Hilda Thornell, age 92 of Cottontown, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2015. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 16th at St. John Vianney Catholic Church with Father Stephen Gideon as Celebrant. Interment will be in Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 15th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home. Mrs. Thornell was born January 5, 1923 in London, England, daughter of the late Albert and Susan Dove Andrews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Thornell; brothers, Albert Andrews, Tom Andrews and Leonard Andrews. She is survived by sons, Raymond Brisson (Lynn) of Hendersonville, Leonard Brisson of Nashville and Andrew Brisson (Melanie) of New Iberia, LA; stepsons, Mark Thornell (Frances) of Columbia and Shoun Thornell (Mitzi) of Collinwood; brother, Ted Andrews of London, England; grandchildren, Barry Brisson, Scott Brisson (Kim), Jill Marshall (Tom), Celia Brisson, Jed Brisson, Rachel Thornell and Joseph Thornell; great grandchildren, Carter, Gray, Marley and Abel Brisson, Liam Marshall and Hayden Thornell.
