Obituary of David William Murphy

David Murphy Sr. passed away on February 23, 2010 at age 70. He attended Landmark Pentecostal Church, loved antique cars, and was an artist. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon from 4-8 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2010 and for one hour prior to service on Saturday. The chapel service, conducted by Brother Val Johnson, is 11 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2010. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers: Ron Sager, Sidney Dalton, Tony Gutierrez, Pablo Gutierrez, Jacob Johnson, and Ron Shupp. The family extends special thanks to Hartsville Convalescent Center. Survivors include daughter Karen (Craig) Rogers of Lebanon; son: David Murphy Jr. of Florida; brother Donald (Linda) Murphy of Texas; two sisters: Patricia (Ron) Sager of AL and Susan (Sidney) Dalton of OH; grandchildren: Noah Murphy and Elizabeth Rogers; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents Thomas and Dorothy Law Murphy and niece Bonnie Palmer.
