Obituary of Doris Lanette Plunkett

Doris Plunkett passed away on June 18, 2010 at age 85. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church and was remembered by her family as the most kind, loving mother that ever lived. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, June 20th and from 11 a.m. until service on Monday. The chapel service, conducted by Brother Kevin Allen, is 2 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2010. Interment in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers: Juan Perez, Daniel Perez, David Allen Plunkett Jr., Troy Plunkett, Tommy Plunkett, Edward Eller, Kevin Allen, Brandon Allen, Michael Plunkett, and Wesley Plunkett. Survivors include five children: Wallace Glenn "Buddy" (Etta) Plunkett of Castallian Springs, David Allen (Debbie) Plunkett of Carthage TN, Peggy Sue (Juan) Perez of San Antonio TX, Patricia (Ed) Eller of Granville TN, and Joyce (Bobby) Allen of Lebanon TN; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by husband Robert Glenn Plunkett, sisters Nancy Daniels and Sue Slaughter, brothers Billy Joe Brinkley, Bobby Jack Brinkley, and Wallace Brinkley, and granddaughter Tracy Lynn Plunkett.
