Obituary of Fred H. Durham

Fred H. Durham, age 90 of Gallatin, passed away Wednesday September 23, 2015. Funeral Service will be Friday September 25th at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Sumner Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Thursday September 24th from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. and Friday September 25th from 12:00 noon until time of service. Mr. Durham was born September 2, 1925 in Sumner County to the late Birl A. Durham and Lola Mae Graham Durham. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by the mother of his children, Clemmie Olean Johns Durham; granddaughter, Regina Faye Hall; brothers, Bobby Durham, Johnny Durham, and Earl Durham; and sisters, Rose Hobson, and Polly Haynes. He is survived by sons, Donald Durham (Margaret) of Bethpage, Joe Durham of Cross Plains, TN, and William Durham (Randee) of Franklin, KY; daughters, Peggy Cantwell (Johnny) of Lebanon, and Jewell Hall (Bobby) of Bethpage; sister, Louise Trisdale of Gallatin, 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
