Obituary of Gary Richard Osborne II

Gary Richard Osborne II, born June 19, 1987 in Tampa, FL, passed away on September 22, 2015 at 1:34 pm after he suffered a fall off a ladder while working at Wyndchase Apartments in Bellevue, TN. Gary is survived by his mother, Bobbie Hope and sister, Rachel Osborne both of Florida; fiancé, Kelsea Shaw of Tennessee; and father Gary Osborne II of Florida. Gary is preceded in death by his Paw-Paw, Alvin Fletcher and his wife, Kay Fletcher of Florida and Dadoo (Rev. Claude Stanley -Bob- Hope) of Florida. Gary was born on June 19th, 1987 in Tampa, FL to Bobbie Hope and Gary Osborne II. Gary was active in school being in gifted programs throughout school, baseball, chorus and skateboarding, but his greatest love was music. He was a delicate and talented songwriter, guitarist and harmonica player - having taught himself to play as a teenager. He had a strong love of religion - knowing that God, Our Father created. He started his Associates Degree in Liberal Arts at St. Leo University in Tampa. He graduated with his degree September 18, 2015. He had plans to attend Belmont University in Nashville starting in January to pursue his Commercial Music degree with an emphasis in Song Writing. Gary moved to Nashville from Florida in June, 2014 to pursue his dreams of being a working musician. Gary met Kelsea, the love of his life, online in the summer of 2013 and a year later they moved to Nashville together, and later got their comical rescue cat, Squat. Gary was a delicate and talented musician and songwriter. He was able to hear a song and play it within a couple of minutes. He loved to play the theme songs to HBO shows, like Game of Thrones. His songs and personality touched many people's lives and hearts. He loved with his whole heart and gave all of himself to those he cared deeply about always making sure his loved ones knew how much he cared and loved them, never taking them for granted. He was an intelligent and unique thinker. He was constantly learning about guitars, amps, masons, conspiracies, religion - especially Jewish culture, and how the moon was fake. Gary spent the summer doing standup comedy for the first time in his life, which terrified him, but he felt a calling to do it. He loved to make everyone around him laugh and often succeeded. Gary also was a very intuitive and precious soul with a pure heart. It's very difficult to describe how special and unique he was through words but those lucky ones that knew him understand how special he was. The summer before he passed away he met and got to play guitar with musician Vince Gill which was a huge honor. Gary's family and fiancé loved him deeply and know that he is still with us and loves us. His family decided to have him cremated at Sellars Funeral Home in Mt. Juliet. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held October 3, 2015 in Zephyrhills, FL. Please contact any family member through phone, email or Facebook for complete details about the Celebration of Life Ceremony. God Bless our Cowboy Angel. Arrangements by Sellars Funeral Home at Mt.
