Obituary of J.E. Bowen, Jr.

J.E. “Pop” Bowen passed away on October 21, 2015 at age 77. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN, on Friday from 2-8 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service. The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Kenneth Bowen and Brother Danny Sellars, is 11 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2015 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, will be followed by interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers: Marty Bowen, Daniel Kirkendoll, Thomas “Bubba” Prewett, Billy Dishman, Gary Burton, Stanley Burton, Michael Davis, and John Denmark. The family extends a special thank you to Gentiva Hospice and Quality Care. Mr. Bowen retired from Batesville Casket Company after 37 years in trucking and delivery. He is survived by children: Glenda Seay (Lody), Bobby Bowen (Tammy), John Bowen Rick Bowen-West (Dennis), Randy Bowen, Deanna Harp (Shannon), and Darlene Bowen; brother: Kenneth Bowen (Linda); 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
