Obituary of Bruce A. Barkalow

BARKALOW, Bruce A., age 77 of Mt. Juliet, passed away on October 15, 2015. He was born June 9, 1938 in New York, to the late Al and Elizabeth Barkalow and was raised in New Jersey. He often referred to himself as a “50’s guy”. Bruce was a member of the 799th Air Force Unit in Joelton, TN, and spent many years working in business development with Presidential Financial and Capital Business Credit. He was a drummer with the group “The 3M Boys”, and was a lifelong fisherman and lover of the outdoors. He was a loving husband of 55 years to wife, Ann Owens Barkalow; beloved father to Cheryl, Scott (Tina), Todd, and Camille; "Pop Pop" to Anthony, Julianne, Alexander, A.J. and Tennessee; and brother to Bonnie Brandt. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Gleason. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet, 2229 N.
