Obituary of Mark W. LaPoint

Mark W. LaPoint, age 59 of Portland, passed away Sunday October 4, 2015. Celebration of Life will be Saturday October 24th at Lock 4 Road Point from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Mr. LaPoint was born November 3, 1955 in Massena, NY, to the late Murray William LaPoint and Isabelle Carline LaPoint. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Dean LaPointe and William LaPoint; and sisters, Merribeth Elliott, Nancy Chambers, Mary Lou Exware, Cynthia Exware, and Martha Exware. He is survived by wife Denise Runions LaPoint of Portland; daughters, Patricia LaPoint of Portland, Brandi LaPoint of Portland, and Alyssa Green Walker (Urian) of Columbia; brother, Murray “Jack” LaPoint of New Jersey; sisters, Sally Whalen of New York, Judith Exware of New York, and Diane Miller of New York; grandchildren, Cheyanne LaPoint, Aliah Appleby, Ashten Green, Kali Walker, Whitney Walker, and Teaghan Walker; and other special children and grandchildren.
