Obituary of Jonas Roscoe Bishop

Mr. Jonas Bishop, age 80, of Lebanon, passed away on October 29, 2015. The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Jody Apple, is 2:30 p.m. Sunday, November 1, 2015 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday from 11:30 a.m. until the service. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make Memorial Donations to: International Gospel Hour (24 Boonshill Road, Fayetteville TN 37334). Mr. Bishop was a member of Maple Hill Church of Christ. He was a man so full of love for the Lord, his family, and others. He enjoyed singing, farming, wood working, hunting, fishing, football, and family meals. Mr. Bishop, beloved patriarch, is survived by wife Jo Bishop; children: Teresa (and Jim) Buell, Deanna (and Tim) Campbell, and Denise (and Todd) Bingham; siblings: Merlyn Bishop, Fayrene Fouty, Pat Bishop, Phyllis Copeland, and Gary Bishop; 8 granddaughters; and 16 great-grandchildren.
