Obituary of Paul Andrew Mezo

Paul Andrew Mezo, age 68 of Gallatin, passed away Friday November 6, 2015. Funeral Service will be Monday November 9th at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home with Bro. Anthony Barber officiating. Interment will follow at Sumner Memorial Garden, with Steven Mezo, Eric Durham, James McKoin, Rick Hoskins, Jeff Woodard, and Ray Owen serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Sunday November 9th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m., and Monday November 10th from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Mr. Mezo was born January 28, 1947 in Davidson County to the late Julius Mezo and Gracie Pearl Keith Mezo. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Jimmie Goins; and sister, Anita Horton. Mr. Mezo was raised by his grandparents, Marion Jefferson Keith and Leona Mai Phelps Keith. He is survived by wife, Lois Blankenship Mezo; sons, Ricky Glen Hoskins (Sharon) of Hermitage, and Steven Kelly Mezo of Gallatin; daughter, Paula DeAnn McKoin (James) of Hartsville; brother, James Horton of Gallatin; sister Ann Horton of Gallatin; 11 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
