Obituary of Roy Cecil Flowers

Roy Cecil Flowers, age 96 of Gallatin, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015. Graveside Service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 10th at Crestview Memory Gardens with Brother Lance Thompson officiating. Grandsons and great grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. until time to leave for the cemetery. Mr. Flowers was born December 18, 1918 in Shipley, KY. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Myra Davidson Flowers; wife, Golda Ooten Flowers, brothers, Irvin Flowers and one infant brother; sisters, Nora Cash and Vela Opal Flowers. He is survived by daughters, Pat Richardson of Gallatin and Shirley Wright (Cliff) of Milford, IL; brother, Orestus Flowers of Kentucky; five grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren.
