Obituary of James (Jimmy) Perdue

James “Jimmy” Perdue, age 84 of Gallatin, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2015. Funeral Service will be Saturday, December 19th at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home with Brother Don Craighead officiating. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow in Crestview Memory Gardens with Terry Bartlett, Frank Bartlett, Zane Kittrell, Jeremy Bartlett, Karson Bartlett and Robert Carter serving as pallbearers. Mr. Perdue was born June 2, 1931 in Birmingham, AL, son of the late Polk Marion Perdue and Elizabeth Baber Perdue. He is survived by wife, JoAnn Gillespie Perdue of Gallatin; children, James Robert “Bob” Perdue (Pam) of Kingston, Terry Bartlett (Penny), Frank Bartlett (Patty), Linda Kittrell (Zane) all of Gallatin, Carrie Bartlett of Memphis; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Mr. Perdue served in the U. S. Army, worked at T.V.A. and was a member of Union Hill Church of Christ.
