Obituary of Lucille Beulah Wilson Brown
Lucille Beulah Wilson Brown, age 100 of Gallatin, passed away Sunday January 31, 2016. Funeral Service will be Tuesday February 2nd at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home, with Pastor Lee Brown and Pastor William Brown officiating. Interment will be Tuesday February 2nd at 4:30 p.m. at Old Liberty Cemetery, in Lebanon, KY. Visitation will be Tuesday February 2nd from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Mrs. Brown was born September 23, 1915 in Green County, KY to the late Loyd and Mattie Wilson. She is preceded in death by husband, Pastor Harold Brown; brother, Delmar Wilson; and sister, Dorothy Vance. She is survived by son Dr. Lloyd Brown (Carol) of Westmoreland; 4 grandchildren, Belinda Woolson (Randy), Steven Brown (Elizabeth), William Brown (Charis), and Lee Brown (Mindy); and 12 great grandchildren. Mrs. Brown grew up in Greensburg, KY and graduated High School in 1936, graduated Campbellsville College in 1938, Married Harold Tynte Brown June 20, 1940, her child, Lloyd Tynte Brown was born in 1942, she graduated Carver School of Missions at Southern Seminary, BRE in ED in 1950, and graduated Memphis State University with a BS in 1964. She was a pastor’s wife for 47 years, a second grade school teacher for 21 years, and a Sunday School teacher for 21 years. She enjoyed reading, playing piano, crossword puzzles, quilting, and gardening. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Gallatin for many years.
