Obituary of Wanda Faye Oliver

Wanda Faye Oliver, age 68 of Greenbrier, passed away Monday February 29, 2016. Funeral Service will be Friday March 4th at Victory Missionary Baptist Church in Hendersonville at 2:00 p.m., with Elder Tim Binion and Elder Rick Oliver officiating. Interment will follow at Gallatin Cemetery, with Brad Adams, Anthony Purkey, Kyle Oliver, Kurt Oliver, Matthew Rickett, and Ben Rickett serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Thursday March 3rd from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home in Gallatin, and Friday March 4th at Victory Missionary Baptist Church in Hendersonville from 12:00 noon until time of service. Mrs. Oliver was born April 20, 1947 in Grainger County to the late Howard Alexander Holder and Jesse Pearl McAnnally Holder. She is survived by husband of 53 years, Charles Oliver of Greenbrier; son, Elder Ricky Oliver (Rhonda) of Gallatin; daughter, Teresa Renea Adams (Brad) of Mt. Juliet; brother, Donald Holder (Betty) of Whitesburg, TN; sister, Mary Ruth Livingston of Morristown, TN; 5 grandchildren, Matthew Rickett (Allison), Benjamin Rickett (Stefani), Kyle Oliver, Kurt Oliver, and Karson Oliver; and 5 great grandchildren, Levi Rickett, Lily Rickett, Cooper Rickett, Dayleigh Rickett, and John Luca Rickett. Mrs. Oliver was a member of Victory Missionary Baptist Church since 1986, where she taught Sunday School and sang in the Victory Trio and wrote many gospel songs. She worked for the Robertson County Board of Realtors. She was also a franchise dealer with the Townecraft Cookware Company. Online condolences may be submitted at alexanderfh.info.
