Obituary of Ruth Dean Wright

Ruth Dean Wright, age 82 of Gallatin, passed away Thursday May 19, 2016. Funeral Service will be Saturday May 21st at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Michael Nesbitt officiating. Interment will follow at Siloam Cemetery, with friends and family serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Saturday May 21st from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Mrs. Wright was born July 15, 1933 in Sumner County to the late Herlin Gifford and Molly Cothron Gifford. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by daughters, Sandra Dayle Graves, and Marion Ruth Dillard; brother, James Gifford; and sisters, Lovell Perry, and Inez Tuttle. She is survived by husband of 27 years, Wayne Wright of Gallatin; sons, Thomas C. “Tommy” Thompson of Westmoreland, and Larry Michael “Mike” Thompson of Westmoreland; daughter, Theresa Eileen Gann (Charles, Sr.) of Murfreesboro; 11 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.
