Obituary of Kenneth Joy Hawkins

Kenneth Hawkins, age 75, of Lebanon, passed away on May 28, 2016. The Memorial Service, conducted by Pastor Kevin Medlin and Dr. John Cheetham, is 3 p.m. Monday, May 30, 2016 at Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church (522 Castle Heights, Lebanon). Mr. Hawkins served in the United States Navy. He was Business Manager at Cumberland University where he also taught Accounting. Mr. Hawkins was a previous owner of Fakes and Hooker Lumber Company He is survived by his wife Elaine Reeves Hawkins, son Michael Hawkins, step-mother Clara Mae Hawkins, siblings Queda Ferrell, Phillip (Ann) Hawkins, Don (Treba) Hawkins, Brenda (Jack) Herman, Ronnie (Linda) Hawkins, and Beverly (Marshall) Ferrell, numerous nieces and nephews, and many loving friends. He is preceded in death by parents Shelton and Mabel Sullins Hawkins, step-brother Freddie Johnson, and sister Joan.
