Obituary of Mary Lee May

Mary Lee May, age 92 of Gallatin, passed away Thursday June 2, 2016. Funeral Service will be Saturday June 4th at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home, with Bro. Jerry Boze officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memory Gardens, with Rodger Templeton, Austin Templeton, John Shults, Gil Shults, Bill Shults, and Will Shults serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Saturday June 4th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Mrs. May was born September 16, 1923 in Smith County to the late Sam F. Perry and Henry Etter Willmore Perry. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, John Henry Fergerson; second husband, Vernon E. May; daughter, Margaret Sue Shults; brothers, J. C. Perry, and Henry F. Perry; and 2 great grandchildren. She is survived by daughter, Shirley Camp (Steve) of Gallatin; son-in-law, W. C. Shults; 6 grandchildren, Rodger Templeton, Jr., Julie Templeton, Jennifer Templeton, John F. Shults, William C. Shults, and Chantay Catron; 18 great grandchildren; and 21 great-great grandchildren.
