Obituary of Gearld Clark

Gearld “Red” Clark, age 74 of Bethpage, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016. Funeral Service will be Monday, July 4th at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home with Brother W. T. Spears and Brother Walt Warren officiating. Interment will follow in Bethpage Lower Cemetery with Dickie Alexander, Wayne Thompson, James Garver, Jeff Clark, Owen Sadler, Jr. and Michael Clark serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Perry, Jeff Cooper, Charles Tuttle and Harold Apple. Visitation will be Sunday, July 3rd from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and Monday, July 4th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Mr. Clark was born May 10, 1942 in Sumner County, TN, son of the late Herman Swaney Clark and Hattie Mae Carter Clark. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Howard Swaney Clark, Albert Glenn Clark and Wardeen Clark; sisters, Edna Troutt, Alma Redferrin, Carolyn Troutt and Dorothy Sadler. He is survived by wife of 56 years, Barbara Clark of Bethpage; children, Ricky Clark of Bethpage, Ann Jenkins (Mike) of Bethpage and Kay Cassetty (Andrew) of Hendersonville; brother, Earl Ray Clark (Linda) of Bethpage; sister, Dorris Alcorn of Gallatin; grandchildren, Kara Jenkins and Taylor Jenkins.
