Henry T. “Hank” Apple, Jr, age 61 of Bethpage, passed away Thursday July 28, 2016. Funeral Service will be Sunday July 31st at 2:00 p.m.from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home, with Rev. Willie Burchfield and Rev. Mike Potts officiating. Interment will follow at Upper Bethpage Cemetery, with Bob Beasley, James Tucker, Bill Daughtry, Ed Budge, Carl Gregory, Bill Johnson, and Mike Sawyer serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Saturday July 30th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Sunday July 31st from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. Mr. Apple was born August 2, 1954 in Sumner County. He is preceded in death by mother, Mable Kirk Apple. He is survived by wife of 23 years, Jill Apple of Bethpage; Sons, Andrew Apple (Amber) of Gallatin, and Wesley Apple of Bethpage; sister, Marilyn Burns of Nashville; grandson, Logan Apple; and nephew, Will Burns. Mr. Apple was a member of Bethpage United Methodist Church. He retired from Hoeganaes Corp. after over 20 years of service. Memorials may be made to Bethpage United Methodist Church.
