Obituary of Lori Bryant Landry

Landry, Lori Bryant, age 53 of Mt. Juliet passed away October 28, 2016, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born and raised in Jefferson, Kentucky, she attended Jeffersontown Public Schools and graduated with honors from J-Town High School in 1981. She played the bagpipes in her High School Band, and was awarded Pipe Major for the school year 1979-1980. She also played with the Louisville Pipe Band. She attended the University of Louisville, and was voted Chapter President of Sigma Kappa Sorority. After college, her part-time job became a full time career in retail sales, working in various positions for Sara Lee Direct for 19 years and Belk Department stores for a year and a half. In 2007, hoping to devote more time to her family, she joined Bank of the South, which was shortly acquired by Pinnacle Financial Partners, where she quickly became a highly valued asset, working with them for 9 years. She served with distinction on the Mt. Juliet Planning Commission for 12 years, from 2003-2015. She is survived by her husband, David E. Landry and son, Ian B. Landry, both of Mt. Juliet; brother, Larry D. Bryant, of Jeffersontown, Kentucky, and her half-brother, Lawrence Bryant of Robstown, Texas. Memorial Service will be held November 19, 2016 at 2 pm, at Sellars Funeral Home @ Mt. Juliet, TN. Visitation will begin at 1 pm, until time of Service.
