Obituary of Clinton D. Wix

CLINTON D. WIX, age 31, of Greencastle, IN and formerly of the Rocky Mound Community in Macon County, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at his residence in Greencastle. Funeral Services for Clint Wix were conducted on Monday, September 19, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of the Alexander Funeral Home with Brother Johnathan Coley and Reverend Murl Wix officiating. Tisha Lamb served as Honorary Pallbearers. Charlie Hauskins, Kerry Wix, Keith Wix, Aarron Hatter, Ellis Hatter, Pat Linenberger, Chad Hauskins, Jake Hauskins, Bubba Hauskins, and Uriah Cochran served as Active Pallbearers. Interment followed in the Shrum Cemetery. Clinton Derrick Wix was born on August 8, 1980 in Smith County, Tennessee to Lisa Ann Hix Wix and the late Ricky Lynn Wix. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by; grandmother, Dorothy Wix, grandfather, Doyle Hix, aunt, Amanda Wix-Miller, and uncle, Frankie Hix. He was a 1999 graduate of Macon County High School. Clinton was in the Special Olympics for five years; he enjoyed bowling in the Olympics and helping the other athletes, when they participated. Clinton was disabled, but did enjoy farming and always wanted to have his own farm land someday. He was a true sportsman, being outdoors and going hunting was what Clinton loved doing. He also loved country music and Copenhagen. Clinton was a God loving person with a gentle, caring heart. He touched many lives while here on Earth and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Clint is survived by; Mother and Step-father, Lisa (Andy) Bright of Greencastle, IN, Sister, Lacelia (Pat) Wix Linenberger of Defeated Creek, TN, Niece, Navaeh Linenberger, Grandparents, Hollis Wix of the Rocky Mound Community in Macon County, TN, Olean Wix of the Wixtown Community in Macon County, TN, several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins also survive.
