She had many talents such as crocheting and making beautiful quilts for her family which Ruby loved the most. She also had a green thumb when it came to growing flower gardens. After her health began to slow her down, Ruby liked to work crossword puzzles and talk to her family and friends on the phone to pass time by. When it came to children, she loved them all, and helped raise a few. After Joe passed away, Ruby had a cat to come to her home. She named him Tom-Tom.
